Each maintenance entry becomes part of a chronological vehicle history. Record the date, odometer reading, work type, cost, notes, and optionally one invoice photo so future you can understand what happened.

Quick odometer actions

From a vehicle’s Quick Actions menu, update the current odometer without creating a service log. When you save a service log with a higher reading, GarageLog also advances that vehicle’s current odometer; trip start and end readings stay available for trip-distance context.

Reminders based on time or distance

Create service, oil-change, insurance, PUC, tyre-rotation, or custom reminders using a date, a distance interval, or both. If you allow notifications, GarageLog schedules local alerts on your device, including due-soon distance warnings.

Documents beside the vehicle

Store insurance, registration, PUC, service invoices, and other vehicle files next to the vehicle they support. A maintenance log can also keep one invoice photo attached to that log.

Multiple vehicles, one garage

Track cars, motorcycles, scooters, trucks, RVs, and other vehicles without mixing their histories. Each vehicle keeps its own odometer context, maintenance timeline, reminders, documents, and insights.

Road-trip expense tracking

The Trips tab lets you start a road trip for a vehicle, add fuel, toll, parking, food, lodging, or miscellaneous costs, and review trip totals. Close a trip with an optional end odometer to see distance and cost-per-distance when those readings are available.

CSV and JSON exports

From Settings, export a JSON snapshot or a CSV log through the system file exporter. JSON includes vehicle, maintenance-log, reminder, and document metadata; CSV contains vehicle and maintenance-log fields.

A 10-day trial and one-time lifetime unlock

The trial starts on first launch and lasts 10 days. After it expires, existing records remain readable but creating new entries and starting new trips is locked until you buy lifetime access, a one-time Apple purchase with no subscription; purchases can be restored.

GarageLog targets both iPhone and iPad, with layouts designed for both device families.

Local-first by design

GarageLog stores vehicle records locally on your device and does not require a GarageLog cloud account. You remain in control of exports and any device backups you choose to create.
