Track the cost of a road trip while you are still on it.

GarageLog Trips is a vehicle-linked road-trip expense tracker for iPhone and iPad. Start a trip, add costs as they happen, and close it with an optional end odometer so the trip summary has useful distance context.

Start a trip for the right vehicle

Give the trip a name, choose one of the vehicles in your Garage, set a start date, and optionally record the starting odometer. Add a short note for context such as the route or purpose of the trip.

Log everyday road-trip expenses

Add an amount, date, and optional note for each cost. Trips includes categories for fuel, tolls, parking, food, lodging, and miscellaneous expenses, so the total is easier to explain later.

See totals and category costs

The Trips overview shows total trips, active trips, and total cost. A trip detail view shows its total, category breakdown, and expense list; when start and end odometers are present, it also calculates distance and cost per distance.

Close the trip when the driving is done

Close an active trip with an end date and optional end odometer. The trip moves to completed history, while the recorded expenses and summary remain available to review.

Understand the trial boundary

Trips are included in the 10-day trial. After the trial expires, you cannot start a new trip without lifetime access; an active trip started during the trial can continue accepting expenses until it is closed.

Keep the data local

Trip records and expenses are stored locally with the app’s other vehicle records. GarageLog does not require a GarageLog cloud account, and the app’s Settings export is for vehicle and maintenance data rather than a promised trip-export format.
